Golden Hands
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage, as described here, means slower work with firmer pressure. It is a comfort preference for people who want more pressure than a light relaxation session. It is not presented as medical care.
Pressure checks
Use these checks when you describe a deep tissue question. They are not a timetable and they do not set a session length.
Firmness
Say whether you usually prefer moderate or firm pressure. “As hard as possible” is not a useful or safe instruction.
Pace
Firmer work is often slower. A slow pace is not the same thing as a promise that tension will leave.
Area
Back, shoulders, legs, or a broader session are different requests. Name the area you hope to include.
Comfort limit
Pressure should stay within what you can accept. This page does not encourage pain as a goal.
Firmer massage is not a treatment claim
| Question | What this page describes | What it does not promise |
|---|---|---|
| Pressure | A firmer massage preference | Relief from chronic pain or a diagnosed condition |
| Focus | Slower attention to areas you name | Repair after injury or a change in posture |
| Feeling | A more intense massage experience for some people | The same sensation for every person |
| Compared with Swedish | Less gliding, more sustained pressure | That one style is better for a health goal |
Ask about deep tissue massage
Include the area you have in mind and the pressure you prefer. The form stores the note. It does not schedule a session. If you have pain, an injury, or a medical condition, speak with a qualified medical professional rather than describing it as a massage prescription.
Pressure, pace, and the limits of this page
Deep tissue is a way of talking about firmness. It does not mean the website offers physiotherapy, rehabilitation, or sports medicine.
People use the phrase “deep tissue” in different ways. On this site it means a massage that uses slower, firmer pressure than a light relaxation session. It does not mean a guaranteed change in muscles, circulation, or pain. Those outcomes are not claims Golden Hands makes.
Comfort still leads. A firm stroke that you cannot breathe through is too much, even if the style is called deep tissue. You can say in the request that you want firm pressure with room to ask for less. That is more useful than a medical description of a sore spot.
Stones appear in some wellness photographs on this website as a visual of a calm setting. This page does not state that hot stone massage is offered. If you are asking about pressure, say pressure. Do not assume equipment from a picture.
Send the question through the contact form and choose “Deep tissue massage.” A preferred date is only a preference. This page does not publish a price, a duration, or a list of practitioners.
